Job summary

New England Mechanical Services, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems for customers in southern New Hampshire and southwestern Maine.

The ideal candidate has commercial HVAC experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Gas/oil burner licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Gas or Oil burner licenses preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and operate HVAC systems.
• Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
• Follow all NEMSI safety policies and use PPE when installing/servicing HVAC systems.
• Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a neat appearance.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Install, maintain, trouble shoot, repair and operate HVAC systems.

Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.

Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.

Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.

Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Should have commercial HVAC systems experience.
• Must have a clean driving record
• Gas and/or Oil Burner Technician Licenses are preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently, 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.
