Job summary

Aire Serv of Smith County is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician in Urbandale, IA to diagnose, repair, and maintain home comfort systems. You will meet customers in their homes, explain options, and deliver high-quality service with a customer-first focus.

You’ll receive paid training, a company van, tool allowances, and earning potential through performance incentives, with pay ranging from $25 to $42 per hour depending on experience.

If you’re an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician and take pride in delivering great service to homeowners, we have an immediate opening with an opportunity to grow as our team expands.

This is a customer-facing, residential service role where you’ll meet customers in their homes, diagnose and repair HVAC systems, perform maintenance, and clearly explain recommended solutions. As our workload grows, this role will also assist with system replacements and installations — without losing its service-first focus.

As an HVAC Service Technician, you play a vital role in taking care of our clients by providing high-quality service and maintenance for their home HVAC systems.

Job Requirements
  • Experience in residential HVAC service
  • Ability to legally perform HVAC service work in the State of Iowa (EPA certification required)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Pay & Compensation

This position offers a competitive hourly base pay, depending on experience and qualifications.

Pay Range: $25.00 – $42.00 per hour

Additional benefits and programs may be available based on role and tenure. Employer-supported retirement and health benefit options available after eligibility period.

In addition to hourly pay, technicians are eligible for performance-based incentives, including:
