Hiring for a HVAC Service Technician-Residential!

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 4+ years of HVAC residential service experience
• EPA Certification
• Solder/Brazing skills
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Basic computing skills; ability to use a computer, laptop, or tablet
• Proficiency in internet navigation and email software such as Microsoft Outlook
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work overtime with little notice; occasional weekend hours may be required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair heating and air conditioning equipment
• Inspect and maintain ducting and company materials/equipment in good condition
• Identify, wire, and start-up complete residential systems
• Troubleshoot, recommend, and repair issues to ensure proper equipment functioning
• Perform start-ups, testing, and record results to verify system operation
• Inspect systems and communicate any concerns to dispatch or customers
• Explain services and repairs to dispatch or customers
• Order parts required for appointments and ensure readiness for service
• Complete all paperwork or tablet entries neatly and promptly
• Debrief with dispatch or customers after each service, documenting accordingly
• Maintain cleanliness of work area after job completion
• Maintain courteous demeanor with customers and colleagues
• Ensure protective floor coverings are used in clients' homes
