Job summary

Jobot is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to cover Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming. The role is on-site with a permanent full-time structure, offering a clear path from diagnostics to preventive maintenance under supervision of experienced mentors.

You will handle rooftop units, boilers, and digital controls, performing repairs and preventive maintenance while documenting activities in our mobile system. This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (union journeyman card or equivalent strongly preferred).
• Solid troubleshooting skills on chillers, boilers, pumps, VFDs, and building automation systems.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, sequence-of-operations, and blueprints.
• Strong customer-service mindset and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls issues; recommend and carry out repairs.
• Service and repair RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and related components; document findings, parts used, and labor in mobile work-order software.
• Communicate professionally with facility stakeholders to explain work performed and next steps.
• Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
