Job summary

Ellingson Plumbing, Heating, A/C & Electrical in Plymouth, MN is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, repair and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems across the Twin Cities metro area.

The ideal candidate works independently, takes ownership from diagnosis to completion, delivers quality workmanship, and provides excellent customer service while supporting apprentices and team members. Competitive benefits and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• HVAC service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, materials, methods, and tools.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical HVAC issues.
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Perform planned and preventive maintenance according to customer agreements and manufacturer recommendations.
• Identify necessary repairs, replacement parts, and additional service needs.
• Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, progress, and concerns with customers.
• Complete warranty service and repairs on installed HVAC equipment.
• Ensure materials, parts, and equipment are identified and ordered in a timely manner.
• Accurately complete service documentation and paperwork.
• Provide guidance and support to apprentices and less-experienced teammates.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a professional manner.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

PositionOverview

KeyResponsibilities

AsanHVACServiceTechnician,youwill:

• Participateinarotatingon-callscheduleasrequired.
• WorkcollaborativelywiththePlymouthteamandotherEllingsondepartmentstoprovideanexceptionalcustomerexperience.
