Job summary

Harris is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician in Shreveport to repair, install, maintain, and adjust equipment across commercial and industrial settings. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to work orders in a timely manner.

On-call rotations may require evenings and weekends. A valid driver’s license and the ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints are essential. You will join a national contractor with strong local presence.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Driving record that meets company standards.
• 3+ years as a Service Technician in HVAC.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience making repair and replace decisions to forward to sales team.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medium to large tonnage commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of basic commercial building systems operations.
• Specialty knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, commercial refrigeration, or boilers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, maintain, and adjust equipment

• Work some evenings and weekends (on-call rotation)
