Blaze Heating Cooling Electrical Plumbing Generators is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain residential HVAC systems in the Wilmington area. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure energy efficiency while keeping detailed service records.

The role requires at least 2+ years of HVAC experience, familiarity with HVAC codes and safety procedures, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience, residential preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC codes and safety procedures.
• Service Titan knowledge a plus.
• Must be 21 or older; eligible to work in the US.
• Valid US Driver's License with satisfactory driving record.
• Experience managing a fleet vehicle and product inventory.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
• Superb customer service skills, honest, dependable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
• Test HVAC system performance and energy efficiency using specialized tools.
• Install, repair, or replace defective parts or components of HVAC systems.
• Identify and recommend upgrades or improvements to enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems.
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while working on HVAC systems.
