Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in North Charleston, SC. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain light commercial HVAC equipment ranging from 5 to 25 tons across diverse facilities.

You will service package units, split systems, heat pumps, and rooftops, perform preventive maintenance, document service work, and ensure safety and compliance with industry standards. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing light commercial HVAC systems (5–25 ton range).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical components.
• Familiarity with RTUs, split systems, controls, and refrigerant systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair light commercial HVAC systems
• Service equipment including package units, split systems, heat pumps, and rooftop units
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Identify mechanical or electrical issues and provide effective solutions
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system performance and recommended repairs
• Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards
