  • Perform preventive maintenance programs and activities.
  • Answer customer calls and complete necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  • Regularly communicate with dispatch to confirm service calls and customer needs.
  • Cover emergency service calls when required.
  • Support fleet maintenance and tool list documentation.

Job Summary

Responsible to plan, execute, and finalize service calls, repairs and projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide variety of skilled HVAC activities
  • Execute Preventative Maintenance programs and activities
  • Answer customer calls and complete the necessary repairs in a timely manner
  • Regularly communicate with dispatch to confirm service calls and customer needs
  • Cover emergency service calls when required
  • Support fleet maintenance and cleanliness
  • Implement OSHA 30 safety guidelines at all times
  • Update electronic files to document each dispatch
  • Stay current with HVAC technology, applications and software
  • Support tracking of company tools and record keeping of technician personal tool lists
  • Regular attendance and timeliness
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Competencies
  • Familiar with HVAC industry standards and codes
  • Prior experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of a variety of HVAC equipment and supporting structures
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills
  • Demonstrate experience in personnel management
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
Education, Experience And/Or Licenses
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Certificate of Completion from accredited air conditioning and refrigeration academy
  • 5 years of commercial HVAC experience
  • Current EPA certification
  • Valid driver license and clean DMV record
