Service Experts in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair residential and light commercial systems. You will work under supervision to deliver reliable service and uphold high customer satisfaction.

You will analyze equipment, read wiring diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, and handle parts logistics. The role requires EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and strong communication with customers and dispatch.

Qualifications

• HVAC service experience with diagnostic skills.
• EPA certification and valid state license as required.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and diagnose electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems professionally.
• Serves HVAC systems: heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning.
• Manages parts delivery/removal for service work.
• Logs job data on handheld device and completes paperwork.
• Collects payments from customers.
• Coordinates with dispatch to report stand-by status.
• Promotes products and services during customer visits.
• Identifies replacement sales leads for Sales/Service Coordinator.
• Maintains company vehicles/tools; stocks as needed.
• Represents the company professionally and ethically.
• Follows procedures and keeps vehicle stocked and safe.
• Regular, reliable attendance.
