Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Technician II in Chattanooga, TN, onsite to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftops, chillers, and boilers.

You will lead Level I technicians, gain exposure to centrifugal rebuilds, and participate in ongoing training while upholding safety and quality standards. A driver’s license and EPA/OSHA training are preferred.)

Qualifications

• HVAC field service experience with diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Experience guiding Level I technicians on procedures and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial HVAC equipment onsite.
• Lead Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations.
• Inspect and test systems to verify proper operation and safety.
• Record service reports, billing, inventory, and timekeeping promptly.
• Explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
