Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician I in Orlando, onsite at our Florida facility. You’ll service commercial and industrial equipment, including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and heat pumps, with comprehensive training programs provided.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, uphold safety standards, and gain hands-on experience through on-site, online, and on-the-job learning. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are valued as you grow with Daikin Applied.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s degree or HVAC certificate preferred.
• 0–2 years related work experience.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (training provided).
• Current first aid/CPR card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and air handling systems.
• Assist in repairs and replacements of defective components, wiring, and controls.
• Log maintenance, shipments, and timecards accurately.
• Provide status updates to customers before, during, and after service calls.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean work areas.
