Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking an HVAC technician to inspect, test, repair and perform planned maintenance on commercial systems in Texas. The role includes a company vehicle, cell phone, strong benefits and an on-call rotation.

You will service split systems, heat pumps, RTUs and water-source units while maintaining client relationships. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant HVAC experience, basic schematics literacy, and comfort with app-based tools and controls platforms.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant HVAC experience.
• HVAC Unitary skills across split systems to 5 tons and RTU/HP units.
• Ability to read basic schematics and low voltage circuits.
• Hands-on with controls platforms and app-based tech.
• Professional demeanor and strong written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses HVAC performance by observation, testing and setup.
• Disassembles/reassembles equipment for maintenance.
• Fulfills service contracts and communicates work clearly to customers.
• Participates in on-call/stand-by rotations.
• Purchases materials and issues purchase orders.
• Maintains equipment, tools and inventory on the service vehicle.
• Drives safely and adheres to company vehicle policies.
