Job summary

SALT Service Co. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join a growth‑driven team in Austin, TX. You will maintain customers’ HVAC systems, propose IAQ solutions, diagnose issues, and explain operation to clients, while ensuring safety and efficiency.

This role offers the opportunity to train apprentices and grow into a leadership position within SALT. We value timely repairs, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering white-glove service in residential settings.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of HVAC service experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert maintenance of customer’s HVAC system(s).
• Offer Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) options to improve home air quality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot customer systems to resolve issues.
• Explain system operation clearly to the client.
• Prioritize job safety and supervise trainees as needed.
• Maintain a minimum production level as set by management.
• Complete repairs promptly and accurately.
• Keep company trucks clean and presentable.
