TurnPoint Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician in Louisville, KY. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial HVAC systems with a strong focus on customer service.

A 3+ year track record, a Kentucky Journeyman license, and EPA Universal Certification are required. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with some weekend rotations, offering up to $35 per hour plus commissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC service.
• Active Kentucky HVAC Journeyman’s License.
• EPA Universal Certification (required).
• Proficient in diagnosing HVAC equipment and reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and system tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues.
• Recommend repairs or replacements and explain options to customers clearly.
• Ensure work complies with manufacturer specs, codes, and company standards.
• Maintain service records and parts usage logs.
• Collaborate with dispatch and other technicians; participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
