Based out of Largo, FL, reporting to the Service Manager, the HVAC Service Technician installs and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and boiler systems. Responsibilities include testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and installation to ensure proper functioning and safety.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test systems for compliance and malfunctions.
• Determine customer concerns and communicate solutions.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
• Record faults, deficiencies, and work details.
• Test for leaks and adjust system controls.
• Perform maintenance like cleaning, lubricating, and filter changes.
• Install auxiliary components and coordinate with teams.
• Install and connect thermostats, humidistats, and timers.
• Generate work orders for deficiencies.
• Assemble and mount HVAC equipment per blueprints.
• Study blueprints and specifications for proper installation.
• Cut, drill, and fabricate components as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of HVAC operation, maintenance, and repair experience.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of HVAC repair, maintenance, installation, electrical wiring, and local codes.
• Good communication, blueprint reading, problem-solving, and physical ability.
• Ability to exert physical effort up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Physical Demands:

This is a physically active role requiring lifting, climbing, maneuvering, and extended standing or sitting.

Field environment with exposure to temperature variations and outdoor conditions.
