Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC diagnostics.
• Clean and safe driving record.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Coachable, motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and mini-splits.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues to identify root causes and verify proper system operation after service.
• Evaluate system age, condition, and repair history to determine whether repair or replacement serves the customer’s best interest.
• Educate homeowners in plain language on what's happening with their system and present options transparently, including long-term cost.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, professional job site and keep the company vehicle properly stocked and inventoried.
• Complete accurate service documentation, job notes, and equipment history.
• Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current on equipment, tools, and repair techniques.
