Specialty Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our Portland-area team. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems while delivering professional service our customers expect.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an HVAC residential service technician.
• Valid driver license and clean driving history.
• Able to pass a background and drug screening.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, ensuring job is done correctly the first time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
• Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and be able to use a mobile device throughout the work day.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, and thermostat/control issues
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Respond to service calls and repair needs in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure necessary parts and materials are properly loaded, accounted for, and documented
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• Follow company procedures and established safety practices
• Stay current on HVAC technology, equipment, and industry best practices
