You will perform tune-ups, inspections, and preventive maintenance, provide repair estimates, and educate customers on energy-saving solutions. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical certification preferred and EPA 608 certification mandatory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service, maintenance, or repair experience.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Perform system tune-ups, cleanings, and preventive maintenance.
• Test and inspect HVAC equipment for proper function and safety compliance.
• Identify repairs and provide accurate recommendations and estimates to customers.
• Complete installations of replacement parts and equipment as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers about diagnoses, options, and pricing.
• Educate customers on maintenance plans, system efficiency, and energy-saving solutions.
• Document service tickets and job details for each call.
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems
• Perform system tune-ups, cleanings, and preventive maintenance
• Test and inspect HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Identify necessary repairs and provide accurate recommendations and estimates to customers
• Complete installations of replacement parts and equipment as needed
• Communicate clearly with customers about diagnoses, repair options, and pricing

• Collect payments and maintain your truck inventory

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical or trade school certification preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC service, maintenance, or repair
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair procedures
