Job description

Certified Climate Control is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We’re looking for a dependable, technically skilled professional who takes pride in diagnosing issues accurately, solving problems efficiently, and delivering excellent customer service.

This role is ideal for a technician with strong troubleshooting abilities who enjoys working independently, communicating clearly with homeowners, and ensuring systems are operating safely and effectively.

What You’ll Do:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
  • Identify mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues using proper diagnostic procedures and tools.
  • Repair or replace defective components including motors, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, controls, and electrical components.
  • Test system operations and verify proper functionality after repairs are completed.
  • Educate homeowners on system condition, maintenance recommendations, and repair options.
  • Maintain accurate service records, notes, and documentation for each call.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and local code requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and provide excellent customer service on every job.
  • Work collaboratively with dispatch, management, and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience servicing a variety of HVAC systems and equipment.
  • EPA certification required; NATE certification is a plus.
  • Ability to read gauges, meters, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
