Job description

Join to apply for the HVAC Service Technician role at Comfort Systems USA Southeast.

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial HVAC equipment in the Savannah, GA area. Our customers are primarily within a 30-mile radius of Savannah; travel to Charleston, SC, and Jacksonville, FL, may be required for repairs or emergency services.

Comprehensive Benefits

• Wage range starting at $22.00+/hr, up to $40.00+/hr based on qualifications & experience

Job Duties

• Perform HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting safely in commercial and industrial settings
• Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot split systems, packaged rooftops, and chillers
• Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
• Complete electronic documentation daily on a handheld device
• Work independently to complete tasks within deadlines
• Operate a company vehicle to complete service calls in a designated territory

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC equipment
• EPA certification (Core and Type II required; Universal preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• OSHA 10 certification (company can provide if needed)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet customer expectations
