Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
2. Use hand-tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
3. Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems at customer locations.
4. Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed.
5. Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, gathering materials, and coordinating work.
6. Inspect and maintain company vehicles, keeping detailed records.
7. Inspect and maintain equipment, notifying management of wear or issues.
8. Complete paperwork and maintain files for each job.
9. Serve as a direct contact for customers, representing the company professionally.
10. Determine parts needed for repairs and ensure timely procurement.
11. Record work details including parts, materials, labor, and costs.
12. Ensure all reports and paperwork are submitted promptly.
13. Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, and repair.
14. Read and interpret product specifications.
15. Provide technical support to customers.
16. Work overtime and weekends as necessary, with some overnight travel.
