Job Description

This technician supports the installation, maintenance, and servicing of commercial HVAC systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration
• Handle basic issues, escalate complex problems
• Use technical skills to determine service needs
• Report on inspections and corrective actions
• Work collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction
• Adhere to safety protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work overtime, on-call, and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 2-6 years of commercial HVAC experience
• EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Technical aptitude for maintenance and troubleshooting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Ability to complete repairs and documentation
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• NATE certification is a plus
• On-call availability and occasional travel

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 75 lbs, working at heights, climbing ladders, and manual handling of tools and equipment.

Compensation

Range from approximately $22.39 to $44.14 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
