Job summary

We Care Air Plumbing Heating & Air is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial systems in Murrieta, CA. You will conduct safety tests, diagnose issues, perform carbon monoxide and gas leak checks, and communicate clearly with homeowners about findings and options.

Training is provided; both experienced and entry-level technicians are welcome. Requirements include 3+ years in HVAC service, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license and

• 3+ years experience as HVAC Service Technician.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks and services for HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot residential HVAC systems and diagnose repair options.
• Conduct safety and performance tests; check for CO and gas leaks.
• Communicate status with homeowners before and after service.
• Maintain truck inventory and assist with payments as needed.

The primary duties of a Service Technician are to perform maintenance checks and services for HVAC systems. Troubleshooting various residential systems and diagnosing repair options. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system(s) as well as checking the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, among others. Communication with homeowners about the status of their system before and after the service has been performed. We are looking for both an experienced and entry level technicians. Paid training is included.
