Job summary

East Texas Refrigeration (ETR) in Longview, TX is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration systems, responding to calls with urgency and professionalism.

We offer weekly pay, a company vehicle, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) with match, and up to 20 days of PTO. Applicants should have EPA Type II certification, 3+ years experience, and a valid Texas driver license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on residential & commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Type II certification required (or in scope).
• Experience as lead technician or foreman is a strong plus.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial & residential HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Respond to service calls with professionalism and urgency.
• Complete clear and accurate service reports (including parts used and work performed).
• Deliver top-notch customer service and explain system issues to customers clearly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure jobs are completed safely and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial & residential HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Respond to service calls with professionalism and urgency
• Complete clear and accurate service reports (including parts used and work performed)

• Collaborate with team members to ensure jobs are completed safely and on schedule

What You Bring to the Table

• 3+ years of hands-on residential & commercial HVAC service experience (required)
• 2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience preferred (walk-ins, reach-ins, rack systems, etc.)
• Previous experience as a lead technician or foreman is a strong plus
• EPA Type II certification (required)
• TDLR Technician license (preferred)
• Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, diagnostics, and safety protocols
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record
