Job summary

Pestinger Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair heating and cooling systems for residential and commercial clients. The role requires a technical school background and 3+ years of on-site experience.

Responsibilities include traveling to sites, performing consultations, maintenance, and repairs, plus promoting maintenance contracts. State licensure and EPA refrigerant certification are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years apprenticeship under a journeyperson preferred.
• EPA refrigerants certification required.
• HVAC program certificate/degree required.
• Must hold state HVAC technician license.
• On-the-job training a plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills; ability to explain HVAC issues clearly.
• Critial-thinker and problem-solver.
• Must hold valid driver’s license.
• Punctual and able to keep a daily schedule with multiple appointments.

HVAC TechnicianRequirements and Qualifications

• Certification orassociate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school required
• Must hold state HVACtechnician license
• Previous on the jobtraining a plus
