Albert Nahman Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling in the Bay Area is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial systems. You will provide high-quality service, share expertise, and communicate professionally with customers to ensure comfort and trust.

Requirements include a high school diploma or technical training, EPA certification, and 2+ years of HVAC experience. Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot components such as compressors, thermostats, motors, fans, filters, and ductwork.
• Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.
• Provide accurate assessments and recommend necessary repairs or replacement options.
• Educate customers on system operation, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices.
• Complete all required documentation, service tickets, and reports accurately.
• Maintain tools, company vehicles, and equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with all company, local, and state codes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures customer comfort by providing high‑quality service, technical expertise, and professional communication.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or technical training preferred.
• EPA Certification 2+ years of experience in HVAC Service, maintenance or installation preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoor spaces).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship. The Company participates in E‑Verify to confirm employment eligibility.

Compensation & Benefits

• $65K-$150K (hourly, plus commission)
