Thirty Madison Ventures in Grapevine, TX is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to service a mix of commercial and residential systems. You’ll handle rooftop unit service (25 tons & under) and EPA-compliant refrigerant recovery, with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role offers a steady daytime schedule, a company vehicle, and support from ownership as the business scales. You’ll work within ~15 miles of Grapevine, with occasional weekend emergency calls.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of HVAC experience across commercial and residential systems.
• EPA certification required.
• Clean, valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable servicing rooftop units (25 tons and under).

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain HVAC systems across commercial and residential accounts.
• Handle rooftop unit service and repair on large commercial sites.

HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Grapevine, TX

Join a growing HVAC company serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with a strong and expanding commercial book of business anchored by a major rooftop unit account. This is a great opportunity for a well-rounded tech who wants steady, year-round work across both commercial and residential jobs, with room to grow as the business scales.

THE BASICS

Location: Grapevine, TX
Pay: $25–$30/hour
Service Area: Must live in or near Grapevine; jobs concentrated within about 15 miles of Grapevine; techs need to be able to reach a job site within 30 minutes
Schedule: 7:00/8:00 AM to 4:00/5:00 PM (some flexibility on start time); occasional weekend work, primarily for emergencies
On-Call: Rare — owner currently handles most after-hours emergency calls
Reports To: Owner/Operator

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Service and maintain HVAC systems across a mix of commercial (~70%) and residential (~30%) accounts
• Handle rooftop unit service and repair, including a major commercial site with 70 rooftop units (25 tons and under)
• Perform EPA-compliant refrigerant recovery and handling
• Support installation projects when needed, and help supervise/quality-check install work
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and accurately
• Use House Call Pro for scheduling and job tracking

• EPA certification

• Lives in or near Denton County and can reach job sites within 30 minutes

Nice to Have (not required):

• Experience with larger commercial systems/chillers (up to 200 tons)
• HVAC license (not currently required, but a plus)
• Experience supporting or supervising installation crews
• Familiarity with digital dispatch/field service software
