About This Role: An HVAC Service Technician is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This involves diagnosing issues, performing routine and emergency repairs, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. Technicians interact with customers to explain problems and solutions, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain a clean work environment. They may also perform system inspections, adjustments, and upgrades, keeping detailed service records. Strong technical skills, customer service, and adherence to industry standards are essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage.
• Diagnosing and servicing HVAC systems in residential settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Providing expert HVAC solutions and professional recommendations to customers.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in residential markets.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least three years of driving experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Professional interaction with all organizational levels.
• Flexible, innovative team player capable of adapting to challenges.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, and using hand tools.
• Ability to work in various environments, including extreme temperatures indoors and outdoors.
• Standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity.
• Exposure to weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain, ice, or snow.
