Home Comfort Experts in the Fort Wayne area is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will work with a team, follow manufacturer specs, and explain options to customers; the role includes on-call rotation and keeping accurate service records.

You will bring 3+ years of HVAC service experience, EPA Universal Certification, and strong customer service and time-management skills to ensure safe, reliable comfort

• 3+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC service.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing HVAC equipment and reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Must lift up to 100 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and system tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues.
• Recommend repairs, upgrades, or system replacements and explain options to customers.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specs, codes, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and parts usage logs.
• Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and other technicians for timely service.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and professional appearance.

Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with excellent customer service, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
