Current Opportunity: HVAC Service Technician

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Use a variety of hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
• Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness, maintain records of service, scheduling, repairs, and maintenance.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear, notify customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
• Complete paperwork for each job, maintain files, and document work including daily time, progress, and duration.
• Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
• Determine parts to order for repairs and their timeliness.
• Record parts, materials, labor, and other cost data per assignment, and return unused resources.
• Ensure timely submission of all required paperwork and reports.
• Stay current on all products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
• Read and interpret product specifications.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Work overtime/weekends as necessary and accommodate travel requirements, including some overnight stays.
