Current Opportunity: HVAC Service Technician

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
2. Use a variety of hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
3. Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
4. Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
5. Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating work.
6. Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness, maintain records of service, scheduling, and repairs.
7. Inspect equipment for signs of wear, notify customers and/or Operations Manager of findings.
8. Complete paperwork for each job and maintain files.
9. Serve as a direct customer contact, representing the company professionally.
10. Determine parts needed for repairs and their timeliness.
11. Document work including daily time, progress, and duration, and maintain files.
12. Record parts, materials, labor, and other costs, and return unused resources.
13. Submit all required paperwork and reports promptly.
14. Stay current on all products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
15. Read and interpret product specifications.
16. Provide technical support to customers.
17. Work overtime and weekends as necessary, with some overnight travel as needed.
