Job Description

This technician role involves supporting the installation, maintenance, and servicing of HVAC systems for commercial clients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration post-installation
• Handling basic products and problems, escalating complex issues to senior technicians
• Using experience and technical skills to determine service needs
• Advising managers on inspections and corrective actions
• Collaborating with team members to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintaining safety standards daily
• Performing additional duties as assigned
• Working overtime, on-call, and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 2-6 years of hands-on Commercial HVAC experience
• EPA Certification (Type I & Type II or Universal)
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Technical skills in maintenance, service, and troubleshooting
• Strong customer service skills
• Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic abilities
• Ability to complete repairs and paperwork
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and driven
• NATE certification is a plus
• Availability for on-call service and occasional travel

Physical Requirements

Technicians will perform work on commercial rooftop HVAC units, often independently, and must be able to:

• Access rooftops via ladders
• Work at heights
• Load/unload tools and equipment
• Lifting up to 75 lbs. occasionally
• Handle loads up to 125 lbs. manually
• Climb ladders and reach overhead repeatedly
