Job summary

Harris, a national mechanical contractor, is looking for an HVAC Service Technician to join our service division. You will work in critical environments including boiler and chiller plants, using new technology, with a diverse and capable team.

We value training, a coachable attitude, and a commitment to safety. You will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and retrofit equipment, respond to work orders promptly, and communicate with customers and the office to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a mechanical industry.
• Mechanically inclined with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant card.
• O6A Low voltage trainee card.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to decide between repair vs replacement and communicate to sales.
• Strong teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, adjust, and retrofit HVAC equipment.

What We're Looking For In You

• 2+ Years working in a mechanical industry


• Mechanically inclined, self starter, not afraid of challenges


• Valid driver's license, EPA refrigerant card, O6A Low voltage trainee card


• Driving record that meets company standards


• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening


• Experience making repair vs replacement decisions to communicate to the sales team


• TEAM PLAYER (We work together = We win together)
