Responsibilities

Perform skilled maintenance and service on HVAC systems, including duct work.
Submit customer invoices and document diagnostics on tablet.

Explain maintenance, repair and replacement options to clients.
Operate company vehicles following laws and safety rules.
Work flexible hours with on-call rotation, including weekends.

Who You Are

Service Technicians perform thorough maintenance on all ages of equipment, with the ability to accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues. You must be able to recognize potential breakdown issues before they happen and make the appropriate recommendations to the customer. You must also be comfortable asking for money and deliver excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

Perform skilled maintenance and service on HVAC systems, including duct work
Submit customer invoices via company iPad, correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostics, and all recommended repairs .
Perform proper maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems that prevents systems from breaking down and provide safety and comfort for our clients.
Communicate options to clients for maintenance, repairs, and replacement, IAQ, and insulation
Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely , and in an accurate manner.
Ability to manage stress, difficult, or emotional customer situations .
Operating company vehicles, and you will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicles.
Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training, and no tolerance will be accepted for disregard of safety instructions.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.

Required Qualifications

Valid Driver’s License
EPA (preferred)
2+ years of HVAC experience
Clean driving record
Time management skills

The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade

Compensation & Hours

Hourly + Commissions (this position offers commission on equipment sales)

$20.00 - $25.00 / hr + 5% commission
Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
Days: Monday - Friday with on call rotation, including weekends
