Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician II in Richmond, VA or Virginia Beach, VA. You will service commercial/industrial equipment, including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and water source heat pumps. Training is provided through in-person, online, and on-the-job programs to grow your career.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, and assisting Level I/III technicians. A valid driver’s license and state-appropriate credentials are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree or HVAC certification is preferred.
• 3+ years of HVAC industry experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification (preferred).
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• CPR/First Aid (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service commercial HVAC equipment.
• Repair and replace defective components and wiring.
• Inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Lead Level I technicians through hands-on troubleshooting.
• Record billing, inventory, timecards and reports.
• Explain technical information to customers clearly.
• Participate in training and maintain certifications.
• Uphold safety policies and keep work area clean.
