Job summary

Daikin Applied in Raleigh, NC is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician I to support commercial and industrial equipment, including rooftops, chillers and boilers. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist in repairs, and communicate clearly with customers while upholding safety standards.

The role offers comprehensive training through on-site, online, and hands-on programs. A valid license and HVAC credentials are preferred; EPA universal certification and OSHA 10 are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree or HVAC certificate preferred.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment and logging of machines.
• Assist in repair and replacement of defective equipment or wiring on fan coils, AHUs, rooftops, chillers and boilers.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Assist with warranty service by inspecting and testing HVAC systems.
• Record billing, inventory, timecards and other reports accurately and timely.
• Interact with customers, providing status reports before, during and after service calls.
• Explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in training; maintain required certifications and develop new skills.
• Follow safety policies; keep work area clean and organized.
