Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, coils, belts, and lubrication
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to fan coils, chillers, water source heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops, cooling towers, and condenser tubes
• Monitor and inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
• Analyze chiller trend data to optimize performance
• Lead rebuilds and retrofits, mentoring Levels I and II technicians
• Record billing, inventory, timecards, and service reports accurately
• Communicate status to customers before, during, and after service calls and explain technical information to varied audiences
• Participate in Daikin Learning and regional training; maintain required certifications and safety standards
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety policies; comply with OSHA and Daikin policies
• Travel as required, including potential overnight stays

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associates Degree or technical school HVAC certification (preferred)
