John C Cassidy Air Conditioning & Plumbing seeks an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems for both residential and commercial clients. The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, effective customer communication, and adherence to safety standards.

Eligible candidates typically have 1–3 years of HVAC experience, a valid license or certification, and the ability to read manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. A clean driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in HVAC service.
• Valid HVAC license or certification per local regulations.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and customer service ability.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and fit into confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to determine repairs.
• Install, service, and repair heating, cooling and ventilation equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and time spent.
• Communicate with customers to explain issues and solutions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times.
