Job summary

Sunset Heating, Cooling & Electrical in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our field service team and uphold service excellence. This hands-on leadership role combines operations oversight, technical coaching, and customer-focused problem solving.

You will mentor technicians, optimize scheduling, monitor performance, and promote safety and quality workmanship while ensuring timely responses to service requests and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC field experience with strong technical expertise.

About The Role

As our HVAC Service Manager, you will lead and support our field service team, ensuring technicians have the tools, guidance, and resources needed to deliver exceptional service. This hands‑on leadership role combines operational oversight, technical expertise, coaching, and customer-focused problem solving.

What You'll Do

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, mentor, and support a team of HVAC service technicians.

Technical Support

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.
• May be required to bend, kneel, squat, reach, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, walk, stand, and perform repetitive motions.
• May be required to drive and sit for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
• May be required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
