Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Service Manager to lead our HVAC service department. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service team, supporting technicians in the field, and ensuring that every customer receives exceptional care. The right person is both technically strong and people-focused—ready to lead a high-performing team and grow the department.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise, coach, and support HVAC service technicians and apprentices
  • Manage daily dispatching, scheduling, and workflow for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct ride-alongs and job checks to ensure technical excellence and customer service standards
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development for team members
  • Resolve customer issues with professionalism and a solution-first mindset
  • Monitor KPIs and drive performance in service revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other department leaders on process improvements and cross-department coordination
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members
  • Ensure safety and code compliance across all service work

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing or leading a team in the HVAC service industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, repairs, and maintenance
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle scheduling, dispatching, and CRM platforms (ServiceTitan experience is a plus)
  • Results-driven and able to hold the team accountable to performance goals
  • Customer-first mindset with a professional, positive attitude
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments (attics, rooftops, crawl spaces)
