Job summary

First Choice Heating and Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead the service team in Gallipolis, OH. You will own daily operations, optimize scheduling and dispatch, and mentor technicians to deliver top-tier comfort for residential and commercial clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with service management software and scheduling tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily scheduling, dispatching, and coordination of HVAC service technicians.
• Manage residential and commercial HVAC service calls, maintenance agreements, and repair workflows.
• Mentor, train, and evaluate service technicians to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
• Serve as a point of escalation for complex HVAC diagnostics, troubleshooting, and customer concerns.
• Monitor inventory, order parts and equipment, and manage vendor relationships.
• Track key performance metrics including call completion rates, customer satisfaction, and technician productivity.
• Ensure all work meets local codes, EPA regulations, and company standards.
