Job description

The Romanoff Group is actively seeking qualified candidates for the HVAC Service Manager – Residential position to join our award-winning team. The Romanoff Group of Companies, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, operates across eleven markets in eight states, providing commercial and residential electrical, heating and cooling, and plumbing services, primarily serving the new housing construction market. Position Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls, emails, and communications regarding service and warranty requests.
• Review daily service tickets submitted by builders and coordinate responses with field staff.
• Dispatch and assign technicians, vehicles, and equipment based on service needs.
• Coordinate scheduled service work with builders and homeowners.
• Work with administrative staff to ensure permit and inspection requirements are met.
• Enter jobs, customer information, contract details, and work orders into the appropriate management systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all service and warranty work.
• Oversee service billing and ensure technicians collect payments for services rendered when applicable.
• Forward service invoices to responsible builders and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
• Coordinate emergency service requests to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
• Communicate with builders regarding installation items, including lights, fixtures, and smoke detectors.
• Provide clear instructions and maintain professional communication with customers, builders, and field personnel.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Required: 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Required: Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: EPA certification or relevant trade licenses.
• Preferred: Experience in new construction.
