Job summary

Mr. H Heating & Cooling is seeking a Licensed HVAC Technician to service, diagnose, and install systems for homeowners and small businesses in South Bend & Elkhart Counties.

You will diagnose furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, mini-splits, and IAQ devices, providing on-site expert guidance with clear repair options and estimates. You must hold or obtain an Indiana HVAC license and EPA 608 certification, with at least 3 years’ residential/light commercial experience.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana HVAC License (Required) — must hold or be able to obtain prior to start.
• EPA 608 Certification (Required).
• Minimum 3 years of residential/light commercial experience in service and/or install.
• Valid Driver’s License + Clean MVR + Background/Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, mini-splits, and IAQ systems.
• Perform licensed installations of HVAC equipment and components in full compliance with Indiana state and local codes.
• Conduct seasonal tune-ups and preventive maintenance for HomeCare+ Plan members.
• Clearly explain repair options and estimates to customers.
• Maintain accurate service documentation through our mobile app (ServiceTitan experience a plus).
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and licensing standards.
