Job summary

Mr. H Heating & Cooling is seeking a licensed HVAC Technician in the South Bend area to diagnose, service, and install HVAC systems for homes and small businesses. You will work Monday–Friday with on-call duties, ensuring on-time, code-compliant work and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and IAQ systems, plus performing licensed installations and seasonal tune-ups. Service documentation and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana HVAC license or ability to obtain one.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of residential/light commercial service or install experience.
• Familiar with electrical diagnostics, brazing, airflow, refrigerant charging, and combustion testing.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and IAQ systems.
• Perform licensed installations in full compliance with codes.
• Conduct seasonal tune-ups and maintenance for HomeCare+ Plan members.
• Explain repair options and estimates to customers.
• Maintain service documentation via mobile app; ServiceTitan a plus.
• Ensure work meets manufacturer specs and licensing standards.
