What You Will Do

Under general supervision, responsible for service, repair, design, configuration, and operation of HVAC building control systems and related low voltage control subsystems to meet customer needs and company goals. Develops software, commissions systems, and ensures proper operation. Communicates design and operational details to stakeholders.

How You Will Do It

• Designs and services complex building control systems, creating diagrams, sequences, schedules, and schematics.
• Develops and tests software for system operation.
• Prepares drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
• Manages material orders and deliveries.
• Assists in system commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Provides field change information for as-built documentation.
• Communicates progress and issues to management and clients.
• Performs site training for operators.
• Participates in coordination meetings and value engineering.
• May supervise technicians.
• Follows safety standards diligently.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or minimum of 8 years' relevant experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, control systems, and building automation protocols (e.g., LON, BACnet).
• Ability to communicate technical info effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Strong computer skills, including drafting tools.
