Job summary

U.S. Engineering offers a full-time, 12-week summer HVAC Construction Service Internship from May through August 2027.

As an intern, you’ll gain practical experience in Service Operations, Project Coordination, Account Management, and Customer Service, with mentorship and networking opportunities. Responsibilities include supporting service activities, coordinating projects, assisting in proposal development, and building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering, business, or construction.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Passion for the mechanical service industry.

Responsibilities

• Assists in Service Operations tasks and learns from Managers, Project Managers, Sales Account Managers and Estimators.
• Gains hands-on project set-up experience, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Participates in kick-off meetings and supports proposals, scope reviews and project tracking.
• Cultivates relationships with existing customers and helps identify potential maintenance contracts.
