Job summary

LONG Building Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Service Technician to perform basic scheduled maintenance on customer HVAC systems and assist with startup, service, and repair under supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience while delivering professional customer service and contributing to safe, reliable operations. Ideal candidates have HVAC trade school or related mechanical/electrical background, strong mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• 1 year of HVAC trade school or 1 year of mechanical and/or electrical work experience.
• Must be mechanically inclined and possess good customer service skills.
• A willingness to learn and develop your HVAC skills.
• Ability to work after-hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Specialize in scheduled maintenance tasks on commercial HVAC systems, including coil cleaning and filter replacement.
• Assist senior technicians with startup, service, troubleshooting, and repair under supervision.
• Attend training courses and progress toward Service Technician I.
• Provide outstanding customer service and represent LONG professionally at job sites.
