Job summary

Boston Standard in Weymouth, MA is seeking an HVAC Service Apprentice who wants to learn from experienced techs, get hands-on experience, and work toward becoming a full HVAC Service Technician.

You’ll ride with seasoned technicians, diagnose and repair systems, and gain exposure to AC, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-splits, while building your skills and taking on more responsibility as you grow in a busy, customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• HVAC school or vocational training preferred.
• EPA 608 is a big plus.
• OSHA training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ride along with experienced HVAC Service Technicians
• Help diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
• Get hands-on experience with AC, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-splits
• Learn how to troubleshoot problems instead of just replacing parts
• Work directly with customers in their homes
• Build your skills and take on more responsibility as you grow

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using tools
• Reliable, motivated, and ready to learn
• Good with people and comfortable talking with customers
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
