Job summary

Sila Boston is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician in Weymouth, MA to diagnose, service, and maintain residential HVAC systems, working with a strong team and customer-focused approach.

You will handle system tune-ups, troubleshoot electrical and refrigerant issues, and present repair or replacement options to homeowners while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• OSHA certification required.

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician who knows how to troubleshoot a system, take care of the customer, and provide the right solution.

Job Duties

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, refrigerant, and control issues
• Service furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, central AC systems, and air handlers
• Explain findings and present repair or replacement options to homeowners
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades and maintenance agreements
• Complete estimates, invoices, and service documentation accurately
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, parts, and equipment
• Follow EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Provide a professional customer experience from start to finish

Skills & Experience

• 1+ years of HVAC Maintenance experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• EPA 608 certification required
• OSHA required
• Experience with furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, and AC systems
• Knowledge of electrical and low-voltage troubleshooting
• Ability to explain technical issues in a way customers understand
• Comfortable presenting repair and replacement options
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Service Titan or similar field service software experience is a plus
